Lime work order¶
Lime work order is an add-on that provides features and workflows for field workers. It's meant to be an easy and fast solution for handling work orders. A work order is a sub-task to a helpdesk ticket, so it will (most likely) always start and end from a helpdesk ticket.
It enables field workers to get all the data they need in order to perform their tasks outside the office and easily report back what they have done. Back office has a smooth dispatch, overview and get the data back fast, correct and in the right place.
Core features¶
- Work order list. A prioritized list of your work orders with visual indicators and text to give the field worker a good overview.
- Document app. Snap a picture or twenty with a few clicks and avoid going through the document table and card.
- Status change. Change the status of the work order with action buttons to enforce the state changes.
- Show on map. A link that opens the relevant address for the work order on Google Maps.
- Link to lime object. Displays and links to the lime object the work order concerns. Because it can be messy to dig around in five relation fields.
- Form Protocol. A neat protocol tool. Customers creates their protocol templates, which are easily added to a work order. So that the right things get done the right way and reported in a common fashion.
- Report time and material. Report time and material, straight on a work order. The result can be used for invoicing.
- Scheduled work orders. Set up schedules that creates work orders every week, month, year, etc.
- Work order behaviors. These small pieces of code implement the most common customizations and can be enabled through Lime Admin (at runtime!).
- Resource planner. A visual tool that lets a dispatcher distribute work orders to coworkers based on availability.
- Maps. Show work orders on a map and show map on each work order.
